This article summarizes the supported devices that best fit these scenarios to help agents answer general questions from customers about what is available.

Snom M100KLE -- DECT 4-Line Rugged Handset

The Snom M100KLE is a ruggedized DECT handset designed for industrial and demanding environments. It pairs with the Snom M500 or M900 DECT base station. Key features include a reinforced housing built to withstand drops and physical impact, making it suitable for warehouses, manufacturing floors, and similar sites where standard handsets are not appropriate.

Grandstream WP836 -- Ruggedized Wi-Fi Phone

The Grandstream WP836 is a ruggedized wireless IP phone that connects over the customer's Wi-Fi network. It is designed for environments requiring both portability and durability, and is suitable for sites where DECT infrastructure is not in place but a robust Wi-Fi network exists.

DECT phones allow users to move freely within a site while remaining connected to the phone system. The following DECT base stations and handsets are on the supported devices list.

DECT systems consist of a base station paired with one or more handsets. Coverage range and the number of supported handsets varies by model. For large sites requiring wide area coverage, the Snom M500/M900 and Yealink W80DM/W90DM support multi-cell deployments.

Wi-Fi Phones

Wi-Fi phones connect over the customer's existing wireless network, allowing mobility within Wi-Fi coverage areas.

Unsupported Models

If a model is not on the supported device list, such as the Yealink AX86R or AX83H Wi-Fi 6 phones, we do not currently support those models and there is no confirmed timeline for adding them. Please contact your business development representative for further information.
