You can factory reset a Fanvil phone using the on-screen menu, the web interface, or a hardware boot sequence. The quickest method is via the phone's local screen menu using the default admin password (123 or admin).

On-Screen Menu Method

• Press the Menu button on your phone.
• Go to Settings, then choose Advanced Settings
• Enter the administrator password (usually 123 or admin).
• Select Reset Default or Factory Reset.
• Confirm the prompt to let the phone reboot. 

Hardware Reboot Key Sequence (Universal)

• Unplug the power or Ethernet cable to turn off the phone.
• Press and hold the # key while plugging the power back in.
• Keep holding until the screen shows Post Mode.
• Type *#168 on the keypad.
• Wait about 5 to 10 seconds for the screen to show Conf Reset, then restart the phone. 

Web Interface Method (The Web UI is generally locked to reduce the attack surface)

• The Web UI is general locked to reduce the devices attack surface. Contact support to obtain a override to access the Web UI. 
• Find your phone’s IP address under Menu > Status > Network.
• Type the IP address into a web browser on your computer.
• Log in with the administrator credentials (default username admin, password admin).
• Navigate to System or Configurations, then select Reset Phone.
• Click Reset or OK to confirm
