Grandstream GDS3710 Setup
Prerequisites
- Access to the GDS3710 WebGUI
- Office Manager or higher user scope
- Manual device credentials are found here
Please use extension range 5900-5999 for this device.
This article will go over how to set up the basic functionality of the Grandstream GDS3710 video door system
SIP Account Setup
- Log into the GDS3710 WebGUI.
- Locate Account from the left-hand menu.
- Fill in the appropriate manual device information under SIP Basic Settings
- Under the SIP Advanced Settings, please set the following.
- Under Vocoder Settings
Door System Settings
It's recommended that calls be sent to a queue for answering when the doorbell button is pressed, but sending to any SIMM extension will work as well. These settings are unique to the installation. As such, this is only a recommendation on how the device behaves.

- Locate Door System Settings from the left-hand menu.
- Under Basic Settings please set the following.
Please ensure that the SIP Proxy compatibility mode and SIP 2 way calling is enabled. As well as enabling using a Random SIP Port. As shown below.
Once done, press the save button at the screen's bottom.
THE 3705 IT REQUIRES THESE 2 SETTINGS CHANGED! The 3705 doesn't have SIP proxy Compatibility mode
