UC Softphone
UC Softphone is a SIP soft client that extends functionality beyond the landline or desktop. It brings features of the Hosted PBX platform directly to the user's mobile devices as a complete Unified Communications (UC) solution. With UC Softphone, users can maintain the same identity when making or receiving calls from any location, regardless of their device. They can also seamlessly send an ongoing call from one device to another and continue that call without interruption. UC Softphone allows users to manage contacts, voicemail, call history and configurations in a single location. This includes the management of answering rules. greetings, and presence, all of which contribute to more efficient communication.
UC Softphone in the Phone Portal
To access the UC Softphone in the phone portal, navigate to the domain, select a user, select the phones tab on the right-hand side, and select UC Softphone.
You will be presented with a modal screen that provides information about the user and QR codes for both IOS and Android app stores to download the app to your mobile device.
