Advanced UC Softphone - Desktop User Presence Statuses

Prerequisite:

  • Advanced UC Softphone Credentials, your portal credentials cannot be used to access the mobile or desktop app. 
  • The Advanced UC Softphone App installed on your computer.
 

Changing your Presence Status

To change your own state:
1. Select the Menu Tab and click on current
state description below your name.
2. In the drop-down menu choose the state
you want to take.

 

Online. This state shows that the user is currently online and able to receive calls and messages..
Do not disturb. In this state, all incoming calls will be blocked but the user will still be able to receive messages.

 

At the desk. You can set this status manually if you have a desk phone connected to your Phone System and you would like for all incoming calls to be routed first to this desk phone. Meanwhile, your desktop app will receive incoming calls with a set delay.
